Welcome to Brothers Cab. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and transportation services. By booking a ride or using our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or booking a service with Brothers Cab, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Booking and Reservations

  • All rides must be booked through our website, phone, or approved booking channels.
  • Bookings are subject to driver and vehicle availability.
  • We recommend booking in advance, especially for airport transfers and long-distance travel, to guarantee availability.
  • A confirmation will be provided once your booking is accepted.

3. Passenger Responsibilities

By using our service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate pickup, drop-off, and contact information at the time of booking
  • Be ready at the agreed pickup location and time
  • Treat drivers and vehicles with respect
  • Refrain from smoking, consuming alcohol, or engaging in illegal activity inside the vehicle
  • Be responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle due to negligence or misconduct

4. Pricing and Payment

  • Fares are based on distance, time, and service type, and will be communicated at the time of booking where possible.
  • Additional charges may apply for waiting time, extra stops, luggage, or late-night/holiday travel.
  • Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged in advance.
  • We accept the payment methods listed on our website or as communicated by our team.

5. Cancellations and No-Shows

  • Cancellations should be made as early as possible to avoid charges.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee, as outlined in our Refund Policy.
  • Brothers Cab reserves the right to cancel a booking due to unsafe conditions, driver unavailability, or other unforeseen circumstances, in which case the customer will be notified as soon as possible.

6. Driver and Vehicle Standards

  • All drivers are licensed and vehicles are insured in accordance with applicable Alberta transportation regulations.
  • We aim to provide clean, well-maintained vehicles and professional, courteous drivers for every trip.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Brothers Cab will take all reasonable measures to ensure safe and timely transportation.
  • We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, or other circumstances beyond our control.
  • We are not responsible for missed flights, appointments, or events resulting from delays outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to traffic conditions, road closures, or passenger readiness.
  • Personal belongings left in the vehicle are the responsibility of the passenger. While we will make reasonable efforts to return lost items, we cannot guarantee recovery.

8. Conduct and Right to Refuse Service

Brothers Cab reserves the right to refuse or terminate service to any individual who:

  • Behaves in a manner that is abusive, threatening, or unsafe
  • Is under the influence of drugs or alcohol to a degree that poses a risk
  • Violates any of the terms outlined in this agreement

9. Pet-Friendly Transportation

We understand that pets are family, which is why we offer a convenient pet-friendly cab option for our customers. Whether you’re heading to the vet, the groomer, the park, or simply taking your furry companion along for the ride, our pet-friendly service ensures a comfortable and stress-free journey for both you and your pet.

Pet-Friendly Service Fee: A flat surcharge of $15 applies to all rides accompanied by a cat or dog. This fee helps us maintain a clean, sanitized, and pet-safe vehicle environment for every passenger.

Please note:

Kindly inform our dispatch team at the time of booking if you’ll be traveling with a pet, so we can assign a suitable vehicle.

Pets must be secured in an appropriate carrier, harness, or pet seatbelt for the duration of the trip, in accordance with safety regulations.

Customers are responsible for any damage or excessive cleaning required as a result of their pet during the ride.

10. Office Rate List & Vehicle Conduct Policy

To ensure transparency and consistency, our current rate list is available at our office and can also be provided upon request prior to booking. We encourage all customers to review applicable fares, surcharges, and additional fees (including the pet-friendly charge above) before confirming a trip.

Vehicle Conduct Policy:
All passengers are required to adhere to the following standards while riding with us:

  • Treat the driver and vehicle with respect at all times.
  • No smoking, vaping, or consumption of alcohol inside the vehicle.
  • No littering or placing feet on seats.
  • Eating and drinking should be kept to a minimum and any spills are the responsibility of the passenger.
  • Disruptive, abusive, or unsafe behavior may result in the trip being terminated without a refund.
  • Seatbelts must be worn at all times during the journey, in compliance with local traffic laws.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone violating this conduct policy in the interest of safety and comfort for all passengers and drivers.

11. Advance Payment for Out-of-Town Trips

For all trips traveling outside city limits or to out-of-town destinations, full or partial upfront payment is required at the time of booking to confirm the reservation. This policy allows us to allocate vehicles and drivers efficiently while protecting both our customers and our service from last-minute cancellations.

Cancellation and refund terms for out-of-town trips will be communicated at the time of booking.

Upfront payment can be made via the accepted payment methods listed on our booking platform.

Booking confirmation will only be issued once payment has been received.

12. Passenger Conduct & Vehicle Policy

At Brothers Cab, we are committed to providing a clean, safe, and comfortable ride for every passenger. To help us maintain this standard, we kindly ask all riders to follow the policies outlined below:

Strictly No Smoking or Vaping
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside all our vehicles at all times, without exception.

Refrain From Eating
Eating is not permitted inside the vehicle. Drinks are allowed, provided they have a secure lid to prevent spills.

Seatbelts Must Be Worn At All Times
For your safety, all passengers are required to wear their seatbelt for the entire duration of the ride, in compliance with local traffic laws.

24/7 Video Recording For Your Safety
All our vehicles are equipped with continuous video recording to ensure the safety and security of both passengers and drivers.

Severe Cleaning Fee: $299
A mandatory cleaning fee of $299 will be charged for any severe mess caused inside the vehicle, including but not limited to vomiting or similar incidents.

Wait Time and No-Show Fees Apply
Additional charges apply for extended wait times beyond the grace period, as well as for confirmed bookings where the passenger fails to show up.

13. Official Rate List

We believe in transparent, upfront pricing with no hidden charges. Below is our official fare structure:

Initial Charge: $3.10
Per KM: $2.20
Waiting Time (per minute): $0.70


Vehicle Policies

No-Show Fee: A fee of $15.00 may apply if a passenger fails to show up for a confirmed booking.

Soiling Fee: A mandatory fee of $299.00 will be charged for any vomiting or bio-mess requiring deep cleaning of the vehicle.

Seniors & Students Discount: We are pleased to offer a 10% discount for seniors and students on all rides.

14. Changes to These Terms

Brothers Cab reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
